Pasting things like “mothercare” affiliate takes one to affiliate programmes which cost to register. Can you recommend any websites where one can earn comission through placing an ad etc. on the website? jzk.
There is not a single affiliate program that I know of online that charges to join an affiliate program. Please give me the link to where you saw this?
MotherCare is a UK retailer and the affiliate networks are Cj (commission junction) and Buy.com neither of them charge to join.
Valueclick Network, google adsense, doubleclick, etc will pay you on the basis of ‘pay per click’; therefore someone clicks you get paid. However just to get paid for placing an ad obviously depends on the traffic, ranking in alexa, etc before someone would place a ad on your site. If you do have traffic then try http://www.text-link-ads.com/, I use them for another site which I was selling products on and they provided unrelated text links which gave me over $100 a month. The traffic for the site was not brilliant but it had PR 5 or 6 at the time.
